We are obsessed with Fragrance !

Fragrance is very much like a personality and mood. Whether you are going out for the evening or just a day at the office, fragrances help us express who we are and how we are feeling. What makes fragrances so unique, is that they are made up of notes. Just like your favourite song is made up of musical notes, fragrances have individual components that, when combined, form a beautiful scent.

Perfume’s notes can be separated into three basic categories: top notes, heart notes, and base notes. Notes at the top of the pyramid have a higher volatility (they evaporate faster), while notes at the bottom are longerlasting.

SOME HINTS AND TIPS

• Apply fragrance to the back of the knees, the inside of your elbows and the base of your throat. Scent clings to these points longer!

• The lesser the heat the better your perfumes – make sure you keep the bottles away from direct sunlight and heat. The cool interiors of your closet make for the perfect location.

• Traditionally, ladies would spray perfume on their wrists and then rub them together – this actually breaks up the fragrance and it is advised not to follow this process when applying your favourite scent.
